High Volume Low Speed Fans
Large spaces like warehouses, railway stations, distribution centers, barns, malls, etc. have a lot more people than in houses. Air circulation in such places becomes stagnant leading to stratification of air into different layers. Smaller fans are effective when it comes to smaller spaces but large spaces require large fans that can circulate more air without affecting the humans or livestocks.
The amount of air circulated is directly proportional to the diameter and speed of the fan. If large diameter fans are used at larger speeds it can impact the occupant. Therefore, HVLS fans are used in larger spaces as they circulate large volumes of air at lower speed leading to enhanced comfort, destratification, dehumidification and unadulterated air. The Spyro HVLS Fan model was finalized after observing the effects of different numbers and types of blades in an enclosed area with various installation heights.
the benefits of installing spyro hvls fans
- High breeze over large areas
- Low noise due to gearless technology
- Zero maintenance due to gearless technology. Otherwise, geared machines require an oil change every 2 years. Doing oil changes in such high spaces is risk-prone.
- Works in high ambient temperatures. Designed to work in Summers when temperatures are high
- Energy savings: Move a lot of air without using a lot of power.
- Improved productivity: Comfortable workers are productive workers.
- Better indoor air quality: Reduce opportunities for mould, dust and dangerous fumes to take hold.
- Safer conditions: If your floor is a concrete slab, you know how dangerous and slippery moisture buildup can HVLS fans promote evaporation.
- Cleaner and healthier air the best way to compare the stuffy and stagnant air to clean and well-circulated air is to think of a river. Rivers are often a much safer water source than a stagnant pond, which often requires extra effort to clean. The same is true for air. When well circulated, the air will be cleaner, safer, and have less humidity.

Cost Analysis
- Area : 15000 Sq.ft
- Consider Working Hour : 12 hours per day
- Working days per month : 25 Days
- Total working hours in a month : 12 x 25 = 300 Hours
From Below table we observe
- Power saving / hour : 9.0 - 1.5 = 7.5 KW
- Consider power cost / unit : ₹ 7/unit
- Power expense saving / hour : 7.5 x 7 = ₹52.5/-
- Power expense saving / month : 52.5 x 300 = ₹15,750/-
